Choose from one of the templates below and then pick which formatting package that you need. I will alter chapter fonts, title pages and such to match your cover art for print versions when possible. Drop caps is optional in all layouts.

Ask me about preparing your book for a proof copy prior to publishing. Many authors are finding that after they receive their printed proof, they are finding editorial errors that need fixing. To save you money, and me time, I offer an option that allows you to obtain a printed proof of your book before we get too far into the process. That way editorial changes can be made by you prior to me finalizing the formatting. If this interests you, ask me about it! |

FAQ
What happens if I (the author) have editorial changes after the book has been formatted? If you have changes directly after, or while I am formatting the manuscript, I offer the first 20 editorial changes for free, or the first round of changes (if the round is less than 20). If it exceeds 20 changes, or one round of changes, then the changes will be billed at $25.00 per half hour. Changes will automatically be billed for an initial half an hour ($25.00), even if it doesn't take me the full half hour. I will round to the nearest half hour for all other instances. |
Here is a general scale to give you an idea of about how long it takes me to make the changes in all of the files:
25 changes = 1/2 hour 50 changes = 1 hour 75 changes = 1.5 hours 100 changes = 2 hours 125 changes = 2.5 hours 150 changes = 3 hours and so forth |
Do you (Deborah) charge for formatting changes?
As long as we are working on the project, no, I do not charge for formatting changes. The exception is if I format the print book for one trim size, and then the author decides he/she wants the book to be a different trim size. Then I will have to charge extra to reformat for the new trim size.
If we finish a project, and within a short amount of time the author finds that there is a formatting error, I will make the change for free. If it has been a few months to a year later and the author decides he/she wants the formatting to look different, that will be subject to additional charges.

Working hours: Monday through Friday CST. Emails will be answered periodically throughout the day. If your email is received Friday evening or on the weekend, please allow until Monday evening for a response.
